Happy new year everyone! Before thinking abt the new year, perhaps we should spend a little moment thinking back on 06 and to some of us, how fucked up it have been and it was tough going thru ups and downs, as always. 06 had been a sort of come and go, hello and bye year. firstly we said goodbye to TP and our beloved project mates whom we stuck to for a couple of sems. secondly, some of us who went back to studying in uni made some new frens, while those who work, same there. during the past year, i'm sure we all missed TP life alot and sometimes i really wished time could have passed slower to let me reminisce abit more. however, this is just a reality and sth we can never avoid. like the old saying goes, 天下无不散的宴席. i'm nt sure if i gotten it exactly but the meaning is as simple as there will always be separation of ppl in this world.

i tried to take it easy but such things bother me a whole lot. but anyway, on sunday 31/12/06, our groupies gathered for a steamboat affair at hui's house. met up with des first in bedok and then the rest. bedok is really a lively place (and i love the buzz station for selling my fave monday mag!), and i am always seeing weird ppl in the bus interchange. and the cannot be forgotten aunty who passed motion right behind the phone booths. tat was a yucky sight. compared to bedok, punggol is boring and the food is not NICE. i also missed hougang my old house, go everywhere also near and the interchange there is really much better than before. the mac there was my frequent breakfast place when i was young. my parents brought us there almost every week and then we would fight for the happy meal toys. hoho.

ok back to parkway parade. we all did shopping for the ingredients and stuff, i'm quite a clunk at supermarketing or wutever. but finally we all managed to get the stuff we want and head back to prepare! so we split jobs and i ended up with chopping the stupid big block of veggie wahahha and peeling quail eggs which was damn fun. and erm... chopping the golden mushrooms. totally fun doing all these together! eh team spirit is impt. so the soup turned out nice and yummy and i ate up alot of the mushrooms and cheese hotdogs for the first time in my life. one thing i super regret was missing the full view of the fireworks. in the past, i used to go for every fireworks event and getting a super clear view and with love.. but things do change and now i guess i'm gonna miss every fireworks thats gonna come around.

snapping back to reality and looking ahead to 2007, i've made some resolutions (and wishes) i hope will come true for me:

1) Study harder and pull my CAP up
2) Go HK again this summer holiday
3) Work and earn some cold hard cash
4) Neverending sprees to come
5) Book a yacht for the big day HAHA
6) Be in love and have a darling whom we can do many things together! like exploring ard sg
7) Stay young and at heart
8) Learn yoga to keep fit
9) Go on holiday again with the groupies
10) Stay in love.

`God, please let these resolutions/wishes come true!
